For-profit care homes in Winnipeg have higher COVID-19 death rates


Manitobans died from COVID-19 outbreaks in for-profit personal care homes at a rate higher than in those run by the province or not-for-profit organizations, a CBC News analysis reveals.

TORONTO - Canadians urged to be extra restrained if celebrating St. Patrick s Day in light of the COVID-19 pandemic appeared to be heeding the advice.
