UDUPI: Various renovation works have been taken up at Udupi Sri Krishna Mutt as per the directions of Sri Eeshapriya Tirtha Swami, the seer of Paryaya Adamaru mutt.
Govindraj, administrator, Paryaya Adamaru mutt, told reporters on Saturday that various development works have been taken up at a cost of Rs 1.19 crore.
“Vishwapatha, a path for the convenience of devotees to visit Madhwa Sarovar (lake) and shrines in the temple in queue, has been developed at a cost of Rs 52.63 lakh. Painting the walls of mutt, electrical and other works have been taken up at a cost of Rs 31.88 lakh. The temple witnesses an average footfall of nearly 10,000 devotees every day. While ‘anna santharpane’ (midday meal) is being provided to all devotees. An average of 12,000 to 15,000 devotees take part in the mass lunch during holidays,” he said. ....
