The Republic of Indonesia (RoI) made its annual pilgrimage in the
sukuk market as it priced on June 2 a triple-tranche offering totalling US$3 billion, including a green
sukuk, which has become a staple in the sovereign’s
sukuk fund raising.
The Reg S/144A issuance comprises of a five-year conventional
sukuk amounting to US$1.25 billion, which was priced at par with a similar profit rate and re-offer yield of 1.50%. This was in line with the final price guidance and 40bp tighter than the initial price range of 1.90% area.

Total of France and ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel (AMNS) have signed an agreement for the supply of up to 500,000 tonnes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) per year until 2026.  The LNG will be sourced from Total’s global portfolio, and offloaded either at the Dahej or the Hazira LNG Terminal on the western coast of India. AMNS will use the LNG to run its steel and power plants located in Hazira, Gujarat state. 
“We are pleased to partner with AMNS and to supply the growing industrial LNG demand in India, a country that aims to more than double the share of natural gas in its energy mix by 2030 compared to today,” says Thomas Maurisse, senior vice president for LNG at Total. “The supply of LNG will contribute to the reduction of AMNS’s carbon emissions, in line with Total’s ambition to offer its customers energy products that emit less CO2 and to support ....
