Her Set Her Sound presents An Afro-Fusion Affair tonight in partnership with The Empowerment Initiative to taste the culture and enjoy the legacy of Africa. From 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Crystal Bridges Museum in Bentonville, enjoy wine and handmade goods from various regions across Africa while beading with Emily Wasonga or learn dance sequences inspired by Afromusic from local dancer Kamree Clark. Light bites will be available from Zanzibar, and Eleven will be open for those looking for more grub.

Fort Smith's Tylo May performs a special concert on Aug. 18. The rapper and clothing designer behind Myntwave will perform from noon to 2 p.m. at McDonald's on Rogers Avenue during The Lunch Hour Series hosted by KUAF. Earlier this month, the series stopped at McDonald's in Shawnee with Joe West. Dazz and Brie will perform for the next Lunch Hour concert Sept. 1 in Fayetteville. Music will ring forth from the Walmart AMP in Rogers once again this weekend. Today Walker Hayes with openers Ingrid Andress and BRELAND perform at 6:30 p.m., and Tyler Childers performs a sold-out show Saturday. Openers are Charley Crockett & Wayne Graham. Ring in the New Year all weekend with Arkansauce at George's Majestic Lounge in Fayetteville. The newgrass foursome performs at 9:30 p.m. today with Mighty Pines, a St. Louis-based rootsy band who has shared the stage with JJ Grey & Mofro, The Dead South, Parker Millsap, Fruition and Sam Bush. Saturday night, Arkansauce will be joined by Sicard Hollow, a jamgrass band out of Nashville, Tenn. General admission for a two-day pass is $35 or $20 per night.
