Long before the seventh-round ended, the Steelers will have reached out to players they were interested in who were expected to be available and it should not take long for the first few signings to be made. Undrafted players are allowed to sign with whoever they chose, with the more popular names likely to be given a signing bonus to encourage them to pick one team over another.
