Im stephanie ruhle. It is friday, may 8th. Welcome to a very special hour on msnbc. Today i am joining you live from the Atlantic City boardwalk in my home state of new jersey. Im going to explain why im here in just a minute. But first, we must get to this mornings breaking news. The april jobs report just came out and it is as bad as anything we have ever seen. We are looking at 20 million jobs lost in one single month. The Unemployment Rate jumped nearly 15 . Thats up more than 10 points in a month. Remember, it wasnt natural. We turned our economy off.
