we begin tonight with some breaking news. within the past hour, a flight from the bay area to paris has been diverted because of a threat. this of course comes three and a half weeks after the paris attacks. the air france flight took off just after 3:00 this afternoon. it was on route to the airport but has been diverted to montreal. air france tweeted there was an anonymous threat but the plane landed without incident in canada. a passenger onboard, a former google executive tweeted these photos about 45 minutes ago. he says everyone was told they would disembark in groups of 50 and then be checked individually along with the plane. we asked him and he says everyone is staying calm. this is the view out the window of the plane right now. you can see emergency crews on the tarmac. there are more than 230 passengers onboard. air france only saying at this time that there was an anonymous threat. as a precaution, the crew decided to land in montreal. we ll bring you ....
