Urban League was given Jersey City land to build affordable housing, then sold it for nearly $1.5 million: lawsuit
The Jersey City Redevelopment Agency gave vacant lots to the Urban League of Hudson County to build affordable housing, the city said. Instead, according to a new lawsuit, the nonprofit sold it for nearly $1.5 million.
