AUSTIN – In the span of more than 15 years, the Champions of Justice Gala Benefiting Veterans has raised more than $4.8 million for the provision of civil legal aid for low- income Texas veterans, a press release states.

The Masters of Ceremonies for the gala were Texas Supreme Court Justices Eva Guzman and Brett Busby. More than $448,000 was raised with all proceeds designated for addressing the civil legal needs of low-income Texans.
