A pageant queen has been nominated for being a positive role model in the National Diversity Awards. Kathryn Ozmaya, from Warrington town centre, has supported several charities over the past few years, raising funds and collecting much-needed essential items, especially during lockdown. A NATIONAL pageant queen has made a donation of hygiene products to three charities which provide accommodation for homeless people, following fundraising efforts. Kathryn Ozmaya, 54 from Warrington town centre, set up a fundraising Facebook page and Amazon wish list and collected the donations for James Lee House, Room at the Inn and The Verve. Kathryn chose to support homeless people, homeless women in particular, putting ‘grab bags’ together to provide individuals with essential products that others take for granted.
