Glenbrook Aquatics coach joins Illinois State staff Sean Sullivan Updated 2/3/2021 11:38 PM Sean Sullivan, a 2011 Glenbrook North graduate and Glenbrook Swim Club assistant senior coach, has been named an assistant coach for the Illinois State swimming and diving program for the 2020-21 season. Joining head coach Caitlin Hamilton and dive coach Logan Pearsall on the Redbirds staff, Sullivan has spent most of his professional career with Glenbrook Aquatics. He has also been an assistant strength and conditioning coach at New Trier, working with athletes from 11 sports, including swimming.
He s psyched about this college position. I m really excited for it, said Sullivan, who will work with all women s swimmers but primarily with sprinters from 200 yards on down. Illinois State does not have a men s program. ....
FRUITLAND Harley Sidney Derrick was born in Ontario, Oregon to Margaret (Wilburn) Derrick and Marve Derrick on August 27, 1934. He spent his early years with his parents on a ranch near South Crane, Idaho. Later he went to 3rd grade in Caney Valley, Tennessee, then moved to Lime, Oregon where he attended grade school in Lime and middle school in Huntington. In 1946, Harley started high school in Baker, Oregon, where he graduated in 1952. He joined the Army in 1954. He was first stationed in San Francisco, and later he served in the Intelligence Division at the Headquarters of the United Nations Command in Tokyo, Japan. ....
