OTTAWA — Sgt. Eric Mueller's casket was placed gingerly before a crowd of thousands in Ottawa on Thursday, who gathered to pay tribute to the 10th police officer killed on the job in Canada in the last eight months.
Mueller was honoured as an exemplary officer, coach and mentor to fellow officers, as well as a husband and the father of two young children.
