Douglas K. Rand, age 60, died suddenly on December 31, 2023, at his home near Fisher, Minnesota. Doug was an exceptionally good and kind person who took care of everyone around him, most of all his family. Doug was the much beloved firstborn son of Alice Jean and Tom Rand; the best big brother ever of Steve Rand and Kathryn Rand; the friend and brother-in-law of Kathryn’s husband Steve Light; the fun-loving and rough-housing uncle of Steve Rand’s daughters Chloe, Kendal, and Avery Rand; and the soul mate of Pearl the dog. All of us love and miss Doug more than we can possibly say.
