Rompfest to feature bluegrass musicians from Bedford, Lexington
Wicked Local In June, 30,000 or so people will gather on a hillside at Yellow Creek Park in Owensboro, Kentucky for the annual Rompfest, a four-day festival of bluegrass music. Owensboro is home to the international Bluegrass Hall of Fame, which sponsors the show and the festival brings out some of the biggest names - Ricky Skaggs and Rhonda Vincent have played past festivals. Last summer, the pandemic nixed the festivities, but this year's lineup includes Dan Tyminski -- COVID willing. If all goes to plan, the lineup will include Stoneface Mountain, made up of Megan and Audrey Mendenhal...
