reporter: yeah, mary, and they re going to be going well into the evening and through the overnight period. we ve already had nearly 200 damaging storm reports, most of them wind reports. we had tornado warnings outside of philly and one outside of susquehanna, confirmed. that cell is now heading into new york state. look at the massive tornado watch from upstate new york, through pennsylvania, and it stretches all the way down into north carolina. and the severe thunderstorm watch down through georgia and alabama. and south carolina, where they also saw some damaging winds. and we ve got all those people without power because of the trees and power lines that are down. this will push to the east tonight. as it does so, the storms will still be damaging, until it hits the coast after midnight, and then things will kind of dwindle by tomorrow morning. the heat is not dwindling. not going anywhere. only expanding across the south, from florida, down i-10, all the way through texas. sti ....
