REGINA Street Culture Project has released the summary of an investigator’s findings following a third-party probe into sexual harassment complaints. According to an update posted on the organization’s website, the investigation revealed a toxic workplace and “inappropriate behaviours and practices.” The report has been turned over to the Regina Police Service to decide if further investigation is necessary. Street Culture said the report will not be released in full because it contains personal information. The organization said former CEO Kim Sutherland initially spoke with the investigator, but later decided to no longer take part. Former executive director Dustin Browne declined to participate. ....

Phoenix Residential Society, Street Culture Project, and the John Howard Society are hosting the fifth annual event on Facebook Live. Blair Roberts with the John Howard Society says the event gives those who’ve died the chance to be honoured properly. “If I passed away tomorrow, there’d be family and friends that would be able to gather, so we really just wanted to take this chance,” said Roberts. “Five years ago, there was a vision of giving these guys some respect and dignity, and a chance to honour those who have lost their lives to homelessness.” ....
Board chair Cassandra Klassen said members will meet Friday to discuss the report and to create a timeline for implementing recommendations and a plan to remain accountable to them. Once next steps are determined, she said they will release a summary of the report s findings but won t release it in full, citing personal details. Former employee wasn t contacted by investigator Two former employees have raised concerns about the scope of the investigation and say the report should be made public to ensure accountability. The complaint intake website said the lawyer would investigate complaints about the conduct of individuals (staff, volunteers, board, etc.) ....
REGINA The location that houses Regina’s Street Culture Project on Victoria Avenue is up for sale. The property, listed on the Royal LePage wesbite, and the asking price is $459,000. Street Culture Project Inc. is listed as the owner of the property, located at 2839 Victoria Ave. A representative from the organization told CTV News Regina that the Street Culture Project doesn t have a relocation plan yet, however it is exploring administrative options. Shortly after the story was published, a new Instagram page was created called Survivors’ Stories Regina. The page was dedicated to sharing stories from survivors of sexual assault and harassment. It featured posts written by the survivors themselves, mostly anonymously, and included graphic descriptions of sexual abuse. In many posts, the author would include the name of the alleged perpetrators. Numerous local businesses were named in the posts, including several in the restaurant and tattooing industries. ....
