So many of our laws today are directed at people we dont like or metadata, not people we are afraid of. I used to practice law years and years ago. When i was in law school taking my criminal justice, or rather i criminal law required for graduation i was taught to things. What is a crime . Thats the first question we have to answer in class. I suspect most of the people in this room may not know what a crime is. But i was taught that a crime is what the statute says is a crime. Thats not true today.
