During the course of our 90-minute chat in the Study Room at the Longmont Public Library, it was hard not to be swept up in the energy level, the zeal, that Penny Burris exudes when talking about her job as head of adult services at teeming facility on Kimbark Street. (While it's tempting, I will maturely steer clear of any characterizations of her as an "open book."' The consummate pro who knows her job "chapter and verse.")
