Solano nonprofits benefit from gift auction that raised $6,000 in 20 minutes FAIRFIELD The Fairfield-Suisun Rotary Club teamed up with Paradise Valley Estates and Potrero Hills Landfill to raise $6,000 in 20 minutes to fund local nonprofits and community service projects. The fundraiser was part of the Rotary’s Annual Gift Auction in which teams of Rotarians bid on gift bags during their meeting to raise money for the club. The bags usually contain wine, gift cards or Christmas goodies for the teams to share. This year, the gift bags instead contained $3,000 in charitable contributions made in the club’s name and funded by Paradise Valley Estates and Potrero Hills Landfill. ....
