Construction nearly done for assisted living facility, COVID a factor


“So, I don’t have a firm opening date for you,” Wolf said Tuesday. “It’ll be soon, very soon. And we’re very excited. We’re excited to be part of Millville and part of this community. It’s a great community.”
There is 5,000 square feet set aside inside the facility for a first-floor daycare that could accept 85 people. New Jersey, however, ordered closed all adult daycares in March 2020 due to the pandemic.
Blocked from operating the daycare, Wolf said his company has found a tenant to lease the space for use as a wholesale pharmaceutical supply center. The center, which is pending city approval, will serve the Millville facility as well as other senior care sites until the state allows daycares to reopen.
