Summit County on Wednesday heard short- and long-term plans from the group working to alleviate trail overcrowding. The Snyderville Basin Recreation District has taken steps to address the issue, including ticketing vehicles that are parked illegally and installing trail counters to help officials plan how best to disperse traffic. Credit Utah Olympic Park A recent approval by the Snyderville Planning Commission is allowing the Utah Olympic Park to take the next step in expanding training opportunities for ski athletes. Approval was given in 2019 for the first stage of ski runs and lifts in the Park’s Mountain Expansion Program.
