PHILADELPHIAÂ â A former Chichester School District facilities director has filed a lawsuit against the district and its board of directors in federal court alleging claims of discrimination and retaliation on the basis of race and disability. Paul Tobin of Brookhaven alleges claims under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family Medical Leave Act and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, according to the complaint filed earlier this month in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Montgomery County recorded a coronavirus positivity rate of 8.1% for the period April 16 to April 22, which was a slight decrease from the 8.7% positivity rate recorded for the period April 9 to April 15, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Healthâs COVID-19 Early Warning Monitoring System Dashboard. Health officials believe having a positivity rate less than 5% indicates a county is controlling the spread of the virus and keeping it suppressed. ....
