They say hospitals in the county are asking them to do too much and not offering enough. Ktvu james torres explains how the two sides got to this point. Nearly 4000 nurses finished their shift early this morning and immediately took to the picket lines. Its all about ensuring Patient Safety and nurse safety. Strikes happening at a total of three area hospitals run by the professional registered nurses association. They say theyve not had a contract with Santa Clara County in months.
