Magnora makes a strategic entry into the Nordic solar PV market 02 Feb 2021 Oslo-listed renewable energy development company Magnora has entered into an agreement to acquire a 25 percent ownership share in a share issue in Helios Nordic Energy, a Magnora has the option to acquire a further 15 percent ownership share of Helios. Through a highly experienced team of renewable energy project experts, Helios manages all the steps in the development process including site selection, environmental approvals, grid connection approvals, preliminary design, and procurement, plus financing of projects in collaboration with reputable, long-term investors. Norway: Magnora initiates cooperation with RWE Renewables on South Norway wind project 01 Feb 2021 Magnora has signed an option agreement with RWE Renewables with the intention of developing the Oddeheia and Bjelkeberg wind farm in Birkenes municipality in Agder county. The onshore wind project will have an installed capacity of up to 98 MW when completed. Magnora s share in the project will be approx. 34 percent. The project will, according to plan, be ready-to-build in 2021 and operational in 2022. RWE Renewables is one of the major international onshore and offshore wind developers. The South Norway region has a fantastic opportunity to take a leading position within development of green technologies, such as battery production, supported by a local renewable green energy industry.
