OG&E: More Than 1,500 OKC Metro Customers Without Power

By: News 9 OKLAHOMA CITY - Oklahoma Gas & Electric is reporting more than 1,500 residents across the metro are without power due to Saturday's severe weather. As of 10:11 p.m. Saturday, Oklahoma City residents account for 1,461 of those customers who do not have electricity. Only 90 customers in Midwest City are currently without power. According to OG&E's System Watch, several areas north of Interstate 40 and south of Interstate 44 do not have power near the Midtown and Paseo District areas. This is a developing story.

Normanites see property damage, power outages, flooding in wake of severe hailstorm

Several OU community members described property damage following a Wednesday night hailstorm, featuring flooding and power outages across several areas of Norman. Hailstorm hits Norman, damage reported across town

A severe lightning storm hit Norman at about 9 p.m. Wednesday night, causing hail damage and flooding across town with some power outages.
