khowell@salemnews.net BELOIT – The West Branch schools superintendent will transition to a teaching position when he returns from sick leave. The school board Wednesday night approved Timothy Saxton to remain on sick leave through July 31 and acting Superintendent Micki Egli to continue as superintendent pro tempore during that time. Saxton has been on sick leave since August and Egli has been filling in for him. Saxton has requested to be transitioned to a teaching position upon his return.
