It's nearly time for the annual reshuffle of employees, as some teachers and staff let schools know they won’t be returning in the fall.

Timothy Saxton will not return to West Branch Local Schools as the district’s superintendent.  On Wednesday, the West Branch Local Schools Board of Education voted to extend Micki Egli's stint as acting superintendent through July.   Egli has held the position since Saxton was granted Family Medical Leave on Aug. 29. Egli also serves as the district’s director of special services. The school board Wednesday night approved Timothy Saxton to remain on sick leave through July 31 and acting Superintendent Micki Egli to continue as superintendent pro tempore during that time. Saxton has been on sick leave since August and Egli has been filling in for him. Saxton has requested to be transitioned to a teaching position upon his return.
