I know we've talked about the rental car shortage already, but it's still going on and this column has some alternatives in case you need to rent a car and you don't want to pay exorbitant rental prices. Because you don't. One option is car sharing, where you use an app and rent some private citizen's car, and that's a topic itself, whether you'd let someone rent your car while you're not using it. Hate to harp on this, but the homeless problem is getting worse and it seems like any attempts to help the problem aren't working fast or widespread enough.
