For tracking live rock/folk/indie bands what monitors would you recommend? My budget could go as high as the Graham Audio LS5/8 which at £7400 has a 12” woofer in a massive 108 litre cabinet. sc1460 » Tue Apr 06, 2021 9:56 pm Thanks James, definitely worth exploring, as I’m recording flat into my DAW ( main adjustments are the microphone type and position) it sounds like using a speaker that’s more PA suited to listen to the band with a full live sound, is that what you’re suggesting? Sadly the Tannoy website only shows their budget studio range, do they make the large studio monitors anymore? I’ve found Tannoy Berkeley on eBay for £1900 so would save a ton of money!
