SINGAPORE: Unions here are offering support to any employees laid off earlier this week by social media platform TikTok.
There will be five tracks, ranging from IT support, project management, data analytics, UX design, and digital marketing & e-commerce.
Even with 1,270 resident workers being retrenched from tech companies between Jul to mid-Nov 2022, the silver lining is that most workers have been able to secure a job soon after.
Some 400 jobs are on offer at Infocomm Jobs and Skills Fair, which is open online till Nov 25. Read more at straitstimes.com.
