Away houses, cars, and even entire towns. Millions of tons of debris were swept out to sea. A lot of it sank, but the rest started floating across the pacific, carried by currents and wind. These types of debris items, these large debris items that float, are starting to show up on our coastline on the west coast. Asma is with noaa, the National Oceanic and atmospheric administration.
