Icelandic PTA clears rise in Mila wholesale tariff for trunk segments of leased lines after EFTA comments

Iceland s Post and Telecom Administration (PTA) said it has approved the revision of Mila s wholesale tariff for trunk segments of leased lines, following the end of consultation by the EFTA Surveillance Authority (ESA) and receipt of ESA s comments. The PTA is granting Mila s request that tariffs change in accordance with underlying costs, instead of updating cost models for different services. The tariff increase only applies to monthly fees, which will rise by 2.59 percent, whereas one-off fees, monthly fees for Sync-Ethernet and connections remain unchanged.  ....
