Telegram Update 8.2 Brings Speed Scrolling; Adds Date Bar, Calendar View for Shared Media, Admin Control, and More

Telegram has released a new update for its app on iOS that allows users to quickly scroll through the Shared Media page, search for old content via date filters and see photos and videos in calendar view. Update 8.2 also adds an admin approval setting for invite links, global chat themes for the entire app, and more. In addition, it brings a new set of interactive emojis with fullscreen effects and instant media captions.

Telegram explains that a regular chat uses server-client encryption (c2s) that essentially encrypts data through cryptographic techniques before it is transmitted. Whereas end-to-end has to be enabled manually to start a 'secret chat.'
