What readers want to see on Sutton High Street Sutton Guardian readers have been sharing their ideas for improving the high street since our visit last week. On Wednesday ( July 21), we took a lovely stroll along Sutton High Street to see how shops were doing following the restriction ease. We visited during the morning, when it was 28 degrees, and we were glad to see the weather had encouraged people back onto the high street. For a Wednesday morning, the high street seemed fairly lively, with many residents opting to sit outside for a bit of alfresco dining. The Sound Lounge, Costa coffee and Tempo Lounge were all bustling - with people seen relaxing outside.
