Harrison Jones As the old saying goes, “a cat always lands on its feet.”  That was the case Saturday afternoon in Reading Township, Adams County, where a stray kitten leapt from 75 feet without injury while firefighters from United Hook & Ladder attempted to rescue it using a ladder truck. The homeowner at the property on the 100 block of Stony Point Road called the firehouse around 2:15 p.m. to report a cat high up in their tree, according to United Hook & Ladder Assistant Chief Buzz Phillips.  The homeowner reported the kitten had been up the tree for about 36 hours, Phillips said, s...
