Hedge fund hot shot Andrew Barroway has sold a Pennsylvania mansion that he pumped $35 million into at a severe loss.
A 32-acre estate with a mansion in Gladwyne, a town on suburban Philadelphia's high-end Main Line, recently sold for $9.26 million. The property at 100 Maplehill Road was developed by Andrew Barroway, the managing partner of hedge fund Merion Investment Management and a minority owner of the NHL's Arizona Coyotes. Barroway bought the land for $12 million in 2006 and spent another $23 million to construct the 13,000-square-foot mansion.
