The Queen marked British Science Week with a video call to British scientists, educators and schoolchildren. It was her first appearance since
Oprah Winfrey on March 7 and followed her
subsequent statement on March 9. British Science Week, which is actually 10 days, is a celebration of all things STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). Her Majesty heard about some of the historic moments in the U.K. in science and technology, and she shared her personal connection to a few. The 94-year-old also found out about modern developments. For instance, the Queen was shown the
Tennis superstar and longtime friend of Meghan s posted a lengthy note on Instagram. I am so proud of you for being so brave, Serena penned in the caption. I know it is never easy. You are strong- both you and Harry. I love you. I adore you. Your friend S.
In the note, she wrote about her hopes for the future. I want Meghan s daughter, my daughter and your daughter to live in a society that is driven by respect, Serena went on.

Prince Philip will return to Buckingham Palace in London for the official celebrations in June.
The Sunday Times reports the monarch and Duke of Edinburgh be back in the U.K. capital in time for
Trooping the Colour, the Queen s official birthday celebrations. They are scheduled to take place on June 12. The Duke of Edinburgh s 100th birthday
falls two days before, on June 10, so it is likely that would also factor
