MADD Re “Arbitrary spot checks go too far” (Editorial, Jan. 11): What do you think is going to happen when private concerns are allowed to lobby governments behind closed doors with no public awareness? What do you think is going to happen when organizations like MADD are allowed to spout false or irrelevant statistics without being questioned by anyone in the media for fear of looking like they don’t support tough action on drunk driving? The fact is, regardless of the laws, even with zero blood alcohol concentration laws and police pulling everyone over they can possibly handle there ...
