Hairdresser calls for VAT cut to help struggling hair salons
Tim Scott-Wright A STOURBRIDGE hair salon owner is asking the government for a temporary reduction in VAT to try and prevent salons suffering long-term financial damage. Tim Scott-Wright, owner of The Hair Surgery in Wollaston, is backing the national SAVE OUR SALONS campaign - calling for an immediate cut in VAT from 20 per cent to five per cent.
