Cochrane Legion Branch 15 is kicking off Canada Day weekend with a pancake breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon on July 1.

The ceremony took place at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 15 in Cochrane, where 18 recipients were presented their medals for outstanding service and citizenship by Airdrie-Cochrane MLA Peter Guthrie.
