Singing legend Sydney Devine has been laid to rest today. Ahead of his funeral, which took place in Ayr today, Devine's family said it was “a comfort to know just how much our dad was loved by many people” after the showman’s death. Earlier this month Iain Gordon – manager of Glasgow’s Pavilion Theatre where Mr Devine regularly performed – announced the 81-year-old had died.
