Motorola India: Motorola Mobility India has appointed TM Narasimhan as managing director of Mobile Business Group - India, focusing on the Indian smartphone market and aiming to be among the top three brands. Narasimhan will report to Prashanth Mani, who will continue to lead Motorola's Asia Pacific business. With experience in sales operations, business planning, and P&L management, Narasimhan is confident in leading the India team and elevating the business to greater success.

Narasimhan will oversee the India business for Motorola, the company said in a release.

He joins Motorola with an extensive experience in sales, operations, business and financial planning, and P&L management. He has held senior management positions in FMCG and consumer technology companies such as PepsiCo, Britanni, and Samsung, Motorola said in a statement Wednesday.

Narshimhan will lead the India operations working closely with the companys headquarters in China, effectively becoming the face of the brand in the worlds second largest market after the departure of co-founder and chief executive Madhav Sheth in June 2023, executives added.
