Congratulations go to Captain Stephen “The Colonel” Krysa who, after 35 years of dedicated service to the Marlborough Fire Department, retired. It was a sad day for the MFD as they were losing many, many years of experience. It will be tough to fill his shoes as an officer in the department, but through his journey he has imparted his wisdom to many firefighters. Thank you Captain Krysa, we wish you the absolute best in your retirement.
MARLBOROUGH MAYOR ARTHUR VIGEANT stopped by the Early Childhood Center recently to read to the students for Read Across America Day which is in honor of Dr. Seuss Birthday which was March 2. It looked  as though the kids really enjoyed the reading from the Mayor, as did teachers Beth Duplessis and Sara Peek.
