Dog fighting, animal hoarding and other forms of animal abuse were covered in a special training Tuesday called “Advanced Animal Cruelty Investigations and Evidence Collection.”
And here in Lexington an ordinance to stop the sale of cats and dogs has garnered approval in the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Council Social Services and Public Safety Committee.
Other Kentucky cities that have passed similar bans include Louisville, Radcliff and Elizabethtown.
