Philly's Federal Donuts gets equity investment for major U.S. expansion
Philadelphia-based Federal Donuts is poised for a major expansion, including up to 150 new corporate-owned and franchise locations, after a growth equity investment from Radnor-based NewSpring Franchise. The CookNSolo concept, founded in 2011, has 11 locations in Philadelphia and is a fast-casual shop for donuts, coffee and fried chicken. The new restaurants could be spread across the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond.
