It certainly wasn't going to bet on our cherub assistants after 2-4, especially considering they were going against the boiled visage of Brent Venables. Partridge, in fact, was the original lead on this recruitment, which means Fan Brain has had plenty of time to come up with disseminations for whenever yet another ludicrous athlete in a ludicrous body would choose one of the few beneficiaries of a ludicrous postseason. Sabb did commit to Clemson, and Fan Brain scoured the ensuing commitment posts for all the reasons why safeties get overrated: Top 5 in your class before you're a freshman just means you got to puberty first. Size is overrated in general, especially when it's involved in early recruiting ratings, and can even be a detriment if you grow out of your ideal position (see Miller, Ricardo). 40 times are overrated. Big hits are DEFINITELY overrated. Guys who transfer up (multiple times) are overrated. Guys who fall down the rankings never fall far enough. They're taking him as a hybrid linebacker; do we even have those anymore? Fan Brain is still adjusting to a world where Michigan beat Ohio State 42-27, crushed Iowa to win the Big Ten Championship, and punched its ticket to the Playoffs. Five cases of the highly-contagious variant B.1.1.7 are linked to the university’s athletics department.
School officials said they are doing everything they can to prevent the spread after one student tested positive.
Some students at the University aren’t too thrilled at the fact that sports have been suspended due to the new variant of coronavirus.

“It’s definitely a bummer,” said student Christie Gillies. “The variant is in our county, so it’s definitely the right thing to do. As president Schlissel was saying, if it’s in this county, then it’s definitely at our school. It’s just a matter of time.”

I made several trips over the last two months to get a detailed look at 2022
Jett Howard. Suiting up for IMG Academy (FL) at the Border League in late October and a one-off versus Calvary Christian (FL) last weekend. This was a great opportunity to see how Diabate stacked up versus some of the best high school competition in the country.
At the Border League event in late October, IMG squared off against Bishop Gorman (NV) and Sunnyslope (AZ). Bishop Gorman featured a pair of top 50 guards in UCLA signee Will McClendon and UNLV signee Zaon Collins along with 3-star junior wing AJ Storr and sophomore big Osiris Grady (holds offer from Ole Miss). The focal points for Sunnyslope were Pepperdine signee Carson Basham and low D1 guard Oakland Fort.
