Aurora Exon: Topekan says toddler had been 'starving herself' in days before death
Jeffrey James Exon told police his 2 1/2-year-old daughter had been "starving herself" in the days before she died at their home, according to a court document. Topeka police responding Jan. 5 to Exon's home found that the toddler had apparently been dead for several days, according to an affidavit in support of a search warrant submitted by Topeka Police Detective Lance Green.
