Sega has revealed that layoffs have hit a number of its western studios, including Total War maker Creative Assembly. Company of Heroes and Age of Empires IV studio Relic is now independent.
Sega is letting Company of Heroes 3 developer Relic Entertainment go independent, but is also laying off 240 from its European studios.
