Former trainer and driver Donald LaRush of Milton, Ont. passed away peacefully at the Ian Anderson House Hospice on Saturday, April 30, surrounded by his family. He was 67.

New Westlake pizzaria Sammataro expands hours in the new year After launching the Sammataro in Lost Creek in early December, owner Issac Flores has big plans for 2021. The wood-fired pizza food trailer will be expanding its hours in the new year.  In January, the truck will be open Wednesdays through Sundays from 3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. In February, the truck will expand to serve weekend lunches, opening at noon on Saturdays and Sundays.  Flores said Sammataro’s launch this month was a success.
