A new mass COVID-19 vaccination site opened at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland on Wednesday, Jan. 20, with the combined forces of Kaiser Permanente, OHSU, Providence and Legacy Health. Officials with each health care system held joint press conference to provide more details. The mass vaccination center will ramp up to full capacity sometime next week when Providence, Legacy Health and OHSU arrive. But Kaiser Permanente began administering vaccines on Wednesday. The vaccinations are free.
